Plastic in the ocean is a BIG problem in the WORLD not only in the United Kingdom.100 MILLION MARINE ANIMALS ARE KILLED EACH YEAR maybe because 11 million tonnes of plastic end up in the ocean every year killing lots of animlas as they cannot recognise what this strange material is. Here is some Climate Change News.....
Climate Change has had an increasing impact on the United Kingdom's weather.Met Office[the United KIngdom's national weather forecast]said that this year was warmer than any other of the years.They know this as when looking into their recent reports they found out the temprature was 1.1 degrees higher than the 1961-1990 averages.You can have a look at this on newsround here is the link-Newsround temprature increase in the UK
Nasa images show that two icecaps in Canada have disappeared beacuse of Climate Change.Scietists have said that the St Patrick Bay Ice Caps have disappeared they know this from sattelite photos from Nasa.Studies showed in 2017 that between 1995 and 2015 there had Ice Caps had reduced by five percent but beacuse of the warm summers we have had there has been an increase of the ice caps melting.You can have a look on this at Newsroud here is the link-Newsround Ice Caps melting
A quarter of United Kingdom's mammals are at risk of EXCTINCTION.Red Squirrels and hedgehogs are at risk.While i was cycling i saw a dead bird and hedgehog lying on the side of the road.Scientist say we MUST take action now before its too late.
Now for some better news in France!Their goverment has tried to cut down the gas rmmisions in the country.You can find out how on the latest episode of Your PLanet on Newsround [the link is at the bottom].
Marine Heatwaves are forcing sea creatures to travel miles to escape the heatwaves.You can see more on Newsround-Marine Heatwaves

If you are having a party why not try to make it plastic free??Here are some ways:- you could bring the food from home in jars or containers
- Dont use plastic cutlery
- Dont have balloons
- Have a giant bowl of crisps rather than serving plastic packets
- Use a paper party bag
